Everybody would love to have a smooth young looking skin but most times that wish does not come to pass because as one advances in age, wrinkles start appearing on the skin. Many people have tried to get rid of their wrinkles but instead of solving the problem they ended up compounding the problem.

Care should be taken when one is trying to get rid of wrinkles so as not to damage the skin. I therefore, suggest you try these natural methods below because they have been proven to be effective without any side effect.

What is Wrinkle?

Wrinkle is a crimp or fold that appears on the skin when one is aging or when the skin looses the ability to retain moisture or oil.

Causes of Wrinkles

Smoking, Aging, Exposure to sun, Lack of proper dieting, Lack of Vitamin C, E and Iron, Environmental Pollution, Stress and it could also be Genetic.

How do we reduce or even get rid of Wrinkles?

1.           Getting enough sleep and sleeping on ones back.

2.           Eat more of fish (Salmon) - This is because it contains a lot of protein and omega 3 fatty acids which nourishes the skin making it youthful and plump.

3.           Do not strain your eyes; use a reading glass because straining your eyes overworks the facial muscles forming a groove beneath the skin surface.

4.           Use Alpha Hydroxyl Acids (AHAs) because they exfoliate the upper layer of the dead skin reducing appearance of pores and wrinkles.

5.           Do not over wash your face because frequent washing of face removes moisture and natural oil that protect the skin against wrinkles.

6.           Avoid too much exposure to sun, wear sunscreen and sun protective cloth if you must be under the sun.

7.           Use skin moisturizers that contain the right type of Vitamin C (e.g.) Ascorbyl Palmitate. Study has shown that products with vitamin C raises collagen production to skin, reduces dark spot, uneven skin tone, redness and harm from UVA and UVB rays.

8.           Avoid smoking because it reduces the skin production of collagen and blood flow to the skin.

9.           Drink Wrinkle reducing drink like cocoa which is high in epicatechin and catechin (antioxidants) and helps in hydration, improve blood flow to skin and makes skin smoother.

10.       Avoid environmental pollution
